MODERATOR: The freedom to create – Nordic Safe Haven networks (2016)

Safe premises to create art and express ones opinions are on the agenda for the seminar Stay Safe, organized 14th November 2016 in Oslo.

For an intense afternoon, representatives from Nordic Safe Haven networks and artists come together to discuss themes of freedom of expression and artistic work. The seminar is based on the international network of over 50 cities of refuge for persecuted artists and opinion leaders, many of which are situated in the Nordic region. Since freedom of expression and human rights are corner stones of the Nordic societies, has the Nordic countries important roles as ambassadors in the work of Safe Havens.
