Report / Analysis: Dalateatern’s digital broadcasting (2016)

For six years Dalateatern has had public support to develop forms of interactive digital transmission to cinemas of performances that have not been possible to tour at smaller venues. This type of transmission means that the audience in the cinema, watching the show in real time, also can interact with the actors and the audience in the theatre as the cinema audience is also on display in the theatre. The different audiences can see and talk to each other also in the foyer. Dalateatern has been the first cultural institution in the country to apply this technology, and now the work is being evaluated.

I am committed to the mission that will continue until the autumn, and is based on a series of interviews, trend analysis and tuning.
