”SHAREGARDEN – Seminars and workshops on real-time transmission through fiber optics”

With technologies allowing only a few milliseconds audio delay and single frames in video, digital networks offer the possibility to interact in real-time over long distances. A theatre scene can be played by two actors on different stages, music rehearsed and performed by musicians in different countries. During two days we will examine the possibilities and uses for fiber network technologies in the performing arts. The days are composed both of seminars and practical workshops. The goal is to gain insight into the technology and witness possibilities for its use on stage.
