Follow-up research: Digital Live Arena (DLA), Piteå Municipality/Norrbotten County Council (2012-2013)
Since its inception in 2011, Digital Live Arena (DLA) at Studio Acusticum in Piteå has developed into an exciting platform for music and culture online – live and on demand – with the whole world as a recipient. DLA is also active as a production company and during the past year it has been broadcasting in collaboration with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Musik på slottet (Music at the palace) and others institutions, and has worked with artists such as Linnea Henriksson, Benny Andersson (ABBA), the Orsa fiddlers and Loney dear.
Via the Orgel Acusticum, which was built into the concert hall, dynamic organ concerts featuring prominent organists from around the world are also broadcast.
