ICORN in Paris: Cities for Freedom
On March 30 to April 1 I participated in the international network ICORN’s
(International Cities of Refuge Network) General Assembly at Hôtel de Ville, the City Hall, in Paris.
”During the past 10 years, more than 50 cities worldwide have united in joint action to protect and promote the voices of writers and artists who are persecuted in their own countries because of their professional work. Over 150 writers and artists have found temporary, long-term safe residencies in a City of Refuge, where they are able to continue their work without fear of persecution.” (ICORN)
