Conference Nov 13-14 at Göteborg Art Museum: Audience development from A to Z
Today the conference on audience development, organized by Kultur i Väst/Region of Västra Götaland starts in Gothenburg. I will present the report “The festival as life partner. When the narrow becomes the wide” about what audience development can be in contemporary music, based on a small study of six festivals. The presentation is followed by an international panel discussion led by Niels Righolt Managing Director at the Danish Centre for Arts & Interculture: Sine Tofte Hannibal, Dansk Komponistforening, Catherine Nysaether Ultima – Oslo Contemporary Music Festival together with a couple of Swedish participants.
Speakers are also, among others, Heather Maitland, Lisa Baxter and Kristin Danielsen, Manager at the Deichmanske Bibliotek in Oslo.
